GYMNASTICS FACTS

  • Gymnastics offers classes for ages 18 months to 18 years and offers many ability levels.

  • Our gymnastics program has been around for over 25 years and some of the Portage Y’s gymnastics coaches have been with us for over 15 years.

  • The Y’s gymnastics program participants have won hundreds of individual and team awards and trophies.

  • Many of our gymnasts have grown up in the program and are now coaches for the program.

  • The gymnasts at the YMCA are taught about the four core values and earn value beads when they demonstrate one of the values during class.

  • The Portage YMCA has the most reasonably priced gymnastics class fees in our area.

  • Every gymnast in the gymnastics program is an important member. They have a real sense of being part of a "team".
