The Portage YMCA Welcomes Portage Township School Corporation High School Students after school!
Daily activities include 5-component meals from the FREE food program, guest speakers and programming regarding topics chosen by students. Topics include outdoor survival skills, cooking classes, swimming, basic car repairs, critical thinking & fact checking, and CPR & 1st Aid. High School Students MUST participate in the program during guest speaker presentations.
Registration is required and registered students MUST ATTEND ON ALL SCHOOL DAYS. Participants who are Y members may remain in the building after the program ends at 6:30 PM. Transportation from PTS High School will only be provided to program participants. * Limit 14 participants *
Want to earn a FREE month’s membership?
Any program participant who attends and participates at least twice per week over 4-consecutive weeks will earn one-month free YMCA membership. Attendance will be tracked by program instructor.
