AGES:  Children entering grades K-2nd. Accepting grades up to 6th.

SUMMER SCHOOL? No problem! We offer coordinated care with PTS for kiddos who need to attend summer school just as we do during the regular school year.

     Adventure Camp                                                                  
DATES:  June 3 - August 9, 2024
LOCATION:  Rotating Locations throughout the City of Portage
AGES:  Children entering grades 3rd through 6th.
Adventure camp is dropped off at and picked up from Portage Township YMCA. Campers are bussed by PTS Transportation between 9am-4pm to the designated weekly location.

     Counselor in Training (CIT) Program                                  

Open to all children entering 7th-9th grades. Camp Redwoods Training Required and will be provided by Portage Township YMCA. This program helps to transition soon-to-be young adults into their roles as Jr. Counselors and then hopfully one day, Camp Counselors.

 
     Jr. Counselors (JRC) Program                                             

Open to all young adults entering 10th-12th grades. Unpaid internship/volunteer opportunity that will look great on college applications! Jr. Counselors, while not counted in the staff to camper ratios, will undergo all of the staff training requirements.

 

Summer Learning Loss Prevention (SLLP) - Included as part of weekly No Bummer Summer Camp Curriculum.

REQUIRED Immunization Form - Must be completed by physician and include physician signature. Must be on file at the start of the campers first day or camper will not be permitted to attend.
